Past scholarship winner David Shammas credits CCF’s Career Services for helping with the FAFSA, working his way through a Bachelor’s, followed by master’s degree in computer science, and specializing in Software Engineering from Oakland University. Born in Baghdad, Shammas arrived in the U.S. in 2013 after spending 7 years in Syria.
