B.E.A.M. Visits Father Solanus Casey Center

Entering into Fr. Solanus Casey Center

Our B.E.A.M. project visited Father Solanus Casey Center honoring Father Solanus Casey of the Capuchin Franciscan Friar Guild on March 11. The trip, the first the group has taken since the COVID pandemic, featured a group of about 30 program participants who were able to tour the center. Each participant also had the opportunity to receive a blessing with a relic from the True Cross.
The entire group, including CCF staff and volunteers, enjoyed the celebration of Mass together and ate delicious soup for lunch. They also participated in a Lenten Series talk given by an animated Fr. Daniel which focused on Jesus’ conversion from sin to a life of love. Full of faith, fun, and food, the trip was one the group will not soon forget.
