Protecting our First Responders
The CCF has distributed personal protective equipment to multiple organizations in the metro Detroit area. Many of these organizations were first responders in the community, like law enforcement and medical staff, who are on the front lines battling the COVID pandemic. The supplies were greatly appreciated by these community members as they continue to combat the virus and maintain a safe environment for the community and their employees.
Organizations including Henry Ford Macomb, Beaumont, the Sterling Heights Police Department, APIA Vote, and many local schools and churches received donations of hand sanitizers, facemasks, disinfectant wipes, and more. The donations will also be reaching a far-reaching number of communities including the Khmer, Filipino, Chaldean, and other distinct communities within southeast Michigan.
