Learning Nutrition

MSU Extension Staff worked with B.E.A.M. Project Students to prepare healthy food.

MSU Extension’s Food and Nutrition Program has started a new 6-week program with the CCF’s Breaking Barriers B.E.A.M. project regarding nutrition and healthier eating habits.

The students enjoyed learning more about the food pyramid and going over subjects such as portion control, healthy recipes and more. The goal of the program is to cultivate healthy diets for the community and create resources to learn more about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
