The B.E.A.M. Project, a program dedicated to helping those with visual impairments live independent lives welcomed back its participants in-person, on August 12th. B.E.A.M. stands for Braille, English as a Second Language, Acculturation and Mobility. The program is held in collaboration with the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons and is intended to help these individuals in acculturating to life in the United States. For many of the students, this was their first visit inside the CCF since the expanded center was constructed.
