Internet Safety

On Thursday, May 20th, the CCF welcomed representatives from the FBI Detroit Field Office, Sterling Heights Police Department, Warren Consolidated School District and their very own Behavioral Health Program Manager, Jacqueline Raxter a discussion regarding internet safety and the dangers of sextortion.

The panel was very informative about the dangers that can occur online and how to practice safe behaviors when texting, on social media and when using the internet. The importance of tracking and monitoring internet usage of children has never been more important.

The Internet Safety Town Hall is a must watch for parents who are seeking to learn more about how to keep their child or family members safe when interacting on the Internet.
