Patriarch Mar Awa III Visits the CCF

His Holiness Patriarch Mar Awa III embraces Martin Manna, President of the Chaldean Community Foundation and Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce upon his arrival.

His Holiness, Mar Awa III, Patriarch from the Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East visited the CCF as part of his visit to the United States on November 18. Arriving from his first stop in Chicago, the Patriarch had the opportunity to learn more about the Chaldean Community Foundation and discuss future advocacy initiatives between the CCF and Iraq. Topics discussed included providing unity between Chaldeans and Assyrians as well as various socioeconomic and political barriers for those living in troubled regions of Iraq.
