Future Leaders Visit the CCF

More than 40 students from Junior Leadership Macomb came to the CCF on October 6 to learn more about the Chaldean Community Foundation and explore diversity and cultures in a breakout session.

Established in 2013, Junior Leadership Macomb is a youth cohort that is comprised of 12 exchange students attending a year in Macomb County schools and learning about American culture. The exchange students, their friends, and colleagues toured the facility, experienced traditional Chaldean food and music and learned more about the Chaldean community. The event concluded with a panel from the 12 exchange students about the cultural differences between their countries and living in the United States.

Students spanned from countries all across the world including: France, Germany, Italy, India, Japan, Mali, Netherlands, Pakistan and Ukraine.
