Widad Yalda Arafat

Widad Yalda Arafat, born April 21, 1941, passed to the fullness of life on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Widad (Bebe) was the cherished daughter of Yelda Habib and Miriam Habib, a loving wife to the late Sami D. Arafat, the proud mother of Robert and Cheryl Arafat, Chris and Yasmeen Abbo, David and Noor Arafat, and Polleen Arafat. She was the grandmother of Kayla, Claudia, Vincent, Joseph, Emily, Matthew, Sara, Catherine, Marissa, Michael, Cory, Mary, Jazmine, and Samantha. Widad was the sister of the late Nezhat (Faud) Esshaki, late Hesham (Layal) Habib, late Adnan Habib, and Walid (Sabiha) Habib. She was the sister-in-law to the late Asso (Roza) Arafat, late Wadid Arafat, and late Jala (Samira) Arafat. She will be missed.
