CACC Year in Review
The Chamber started 2021 with virtual meetings and events, moving to in-person mid-year. The 18th annual Golf Outing benefiting the CCF was held at Shenandoah Country Club in June, along with a successful PAC fundraiser at the home of Johny and Leila Kello. The Chaldean Women’s Committee invited all to the CCF for a Leadership Breakfast featuring the Honorable Hala Jarbou and the Honorable Yasmine Poles in August, followed by the 2nd annual Golf Outing for the Chamber at Wabeek Country Club. They were finally able to honor Johny Kello as the Businessperson of the Year at the Awards Dinner in September, had local news celebrities at the Business Luncheon at MotorCity Casino Sound Board in October, and voted in eight new Board members at the Annual Meeting in November. The Christmas Party is at Regency Manor on December 2.
